Problems identified:
- Total commitment with staff and management over an agreed period (spanning over 2 years)
- Keeping costs and time frames inline with programmed schedules
- TATA work within the Passport to Safety accredited scheme and also require a qualified Passport to safety supervisor to overview all work.
- With the slitting and blanking lines we had to work close with the civil engineers that created and made the pits and plinths ensuring that not only the civil drawings were correct to preposition each machine but to ensure that they were ready for us to work on a programmed timeline.
Factory Plant gave total commitment, ensuring time frames and budgets were kept on schedule.
The staff are all now trained in Passport to Safety and as requested a Passport to Safety Supervisor was accredited and supporting the lead role as a point of contact.
All the work has now been successfully completed working closely with the civil engineers, the transition has now been in full production for over Two years.
Factory Plant are proud and privileged to continually support TATA Steel to this day.
